The UW-Superior Small Business Development Center (SBDC) can help you take the first step toward starting your own business. Individuals thinking about starting a business can get expert help by attending a class called "First Steps to Starting Your Own Business". Learn about Personal Considerations, Defining Your Business With A Business Plan, and the Nuts and Bolts of Operating A Business.

This is a 2-hour class that will take place on Thursday, August 12 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the UW-Superior campus, Erlanson Hall, Room 304. The tuition fee is $25 and includes a valuable resource manual.

A business specialist from the SBDC will help participants determine whether their ideas are feasible, what type of planning must be done, and where to find additional assistance. Follow-up counseling sessions are also available at no charge.
