A necessity, not a luxury...

Rick Steves, a popular travel writer and producer of Rick Steves' Europe on public television, has stated that "Study abroad is a necessity, not a luxury."  His article further states that "ninety-six percent of humanity lives outside our borders--and we risk being left in the dust if we do not know how to effectively engage the world."
