UW-Superior offers a German Study Abroad course for credit. Students gain first-hand experience with German language, literature and culture during a semester at Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, Germany. UW-Superior offers a minor in German language, but some students use our Individually Designed Major to create their own major in German. UW-Superior student Stacey Caines spent a semester studying in Oldenburg. One of the fun parts of studying abroad is being able to travel during weekends and holidays. You just never know where you may end up or who you may run into, like Stacey, who toured the legendary city of Hamelin (below)...
... and encountered the Pied Piper (well, a local actor playing that part) of fairy tale fame.
