Web Redesign Road Show Coming to a Governance Group Near You
The UW-Superior web re-design process is underway and the Web Team is busy meeting with campus governance on the re-design process.
Lynne Wiliams, Director of University Relations and Joe Kmiech, Director of Technology Support are co-project managers for the web re-design process. Over the next few weeks they will be meeting with governance groups and campus leaders to give a status update on the project.
On Jan. 15, Lynne and Joe visited Classified Staff Senate and presented the goals of the project, the milestones, and other key pieces of information. They also let the Classified Staff Senate members know about the need for equal representation on the soon to be formed Web Advisory Committee. This group will contain members appointed from the four governance groups, campus administration, and admissions. The group will help to advise on web policy, web re-design high-level decisions,and future website-related items.
Classified Staff Senate gave the project managers valuable feedback which we will be able to feed into the process going forward.
The Web Team looks forward to meeting with the other governance groups and administrative committees over the coming weeks as we move forward with this exciting project.
