Tell us about your family. Did they have any influence on your decision to come to UW-Superior?

I am the middle child of 7. One of my sisters graduated from the Social Work program in 2012. Another one is currently attending UWS's social work program and will graduate in December.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

VNSC - Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center in Old Main, Room 118

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?

I work full time so I do not partake in many extra-curriculars but I do enjoy using the weight room, track, and racquetball courts at the MWC.

What do you like about UW-Superior so far?

Small class sizes. Lots of opportunities to voice your opinions as to what you think could improve campus and life for veterans.

How is college different than being part of the military?

Being a college student is much more independent

How has your transition to student at UW-Superior been?

Relatively smooth. There is a lot of places that provide help for any problems or questions that you may have.

What are some words of wisdom you could impart to our incoming veterans about your experience here at UW-Superior?

Visit the VNSC if you are a veteran. It will be worth your time.
