The University of Wisconsin-Superior Writing across the Curriculum Program serves as the center for writing activities at the university. In recognition of the central role writing plays in a liberal education, the program's mission is to foster a culture of writing at UW-Superior.

To this end, the program offers a variety of services to faculty, teaching staff, students, and the rest of the university community.

• Faculty and teaching staff, whatever their field, can find assistance with effectively incorporating writing into their courses and curricula, in alignment with student learning goals.
• Students can visit the Writing Center (in person in Swenson 1030, or online)  to talk to consultants about their writing projects for courses across the curriculum.
• Anyone at UW-Superior can attend or participate in various writing-related activities, such as essay contests and readings by creative writers.
