The Library and The Writing Center Offer Special Events for National Library Week

When: Apr 16, 2013 to Apr 19, 2013

--"Writing Center in the Library": On Tuesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 18, from 9 am to 5 pm, a consultant from the Writing Center will be stationed in JDH 231 to offer writing consultations to students. (The Writing Center-SWEN 1030-will be open as well, just as usual.)

--Two great sessions on citation will take place:

1."Encouraging Students to Cite Right": Instructor brown bag on how to promote accurate and appropriate use of citations in student writing, on Wednesday, April 17, at noon, in JDH 233. Carolyn Caffrey Gardner and Deborah Schlacks will co-facilitate the session. All faculty and teaching staff are invited to participate.

2."How to Cite Right": Student workshop on how to use MLA and APA citations accurately and appropriately, on Friday, April 19 at noon in JDH 233. Carolyn and Deborah will co-facilitate. Please encourage your students to attend.
