| Duties: |
- Tutor individuals and/or small groups of students in math.
- Maintain written records of lab activities for the Student
Support Services departments.
- Participate in in-service sessions, such as training
specifically focused on students with disabilities.

| Qualifications: |
- Completion of Calculus I or higher at UW-Superior or another
college/university. Specialty tutors may be hired for courses such
as Math 112 and Math 130.
- 3.0 or better average in mathematics courses being tutored. If
this requirement isn’t met, student may be placed on probation for
one semester.
- Good academic standing – at least 2.0 or higher overall GPA. If
this requirement isn’t met, student may be placed on probation for
one semester.
- Interest in working with students.
- Patience, sensitivity, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and
communicating in a cooperative manner with all, students, co-workers
and supervisors.
