Associate Student Services Coordinator

Position:                      Student Leadership Coordinator (Associate Student Services Coordinator-Level 3)

 

Summary of Duties:     The University of Wisconsin-Superior is accepting applications for the position of Student Leadership Coordinator.  This position oversees student leadership programming and provides leadership to student organizations including enhancing Greek Life.  This position also provides and promotes a breadth of volunteer opportunities for students in collaboration with the campus volunteer organization.  Some nights and weekends are required.  This position is a part of the division of Campus Life.

Required

Qualifications:             Bachelor’s Degree.  At least one year professional experience in college student leadership training, community service programming or related areas.  Knowledge of and commitment to principles of student development and the college union idea within a liberal arts tradition.  Evidence of excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to use desktop publishing software to design promotional materials.  Ability to motivate and work closely with diverse groups of people.  Availability to work occasional week nights and weekends.

 

Desirable

Qualifications:             Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Student Development, Higher Education or a related field.  Previous work experience supervising student leadership program development, coordinating volunteer/service learning programs for students and/or advising student groups would be desirable. 

 

Salary and

Benefits:                      Minimum salary $35,008 and excellent benefit package
