Technology Funding Guidelines
UW-System allocates funding for technology on UW campuses annually. There are two funds, both based on student FTE. The Student Technology Fee (STF) fund is a percentage of tuition revenue. The Classroom/Laboratory Modernization and General Computer Access (CLM) fund is fixed allocation from UW Systems budget. UW-Superior convenes separate committees to allocate these funds on campus. The STF committee is composed of students, faculty and staff. The CLM committee is composed of academic department chairpersons. Both committees are convened by the Chief Information Officer.
