The units that provide information and instructional technology services are Technology Services, the Distance Learning Center, Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning, the Library and ResNet. This group meets twice a month to plan and coordinate provision of all information and instructional services for the campus.

Charge - The University Technology Committee advises the IITS Management Team activities and strategies to be used in implementing the campus Information Technology plan. This advice includes recommendations on new software and technologies as well as recommendations on various technology usage policies and procedures. The Committee membership consists of four faculty, two academic staff, one classified staff and two students and the Chief Information Officer (ex officio).

The committee reviews proposal and makes funding recommendations to the Chief Information Officer. The Committee membership consists of one faculty, one academic staff, four students and the Chief Information Officer (ex officio).

Charge - The Classroom & Lab Modernization (CLM) Committee establishes priorities for CLM proposals. A campuswide call for proposals is issued that is consistent with UW System established CLM guidelines http://www.uwsa.edu/fadmin/fppp/fppp48.htm. The committee reviews proposal and makes funding recommendations to the Provost. The Committee reviews historical allocations http://www.uwsuper.edu/technology/TechFundHistory/TechFee_History.xls in an effort to equitably fund departments. The Committee membership consists of four faculty members representing different departments and the Chief Information Officer (ex officio).
