Database Administration ( 15 % )
Maintain production, test and patch databases. SQLServer Administration (backups, user accounts, performance, indexing, MS patches)

Patches ( 5 % )
This position is highly specialized utilizing all application tools (Application Designer, Crystal, SQL, SQR, PeopleCode,MF Cobol) as well as database project upgrades, People tools update, use of Upgrade Assistant, code deployment, security updates,etc

Server Administration ( 10 % )
Support PeopleSoft Application Server, File Server, Database Server, Web Server, Process Scheduler

Microsoft SMS

Student Financials ( 40 % )
Support for the Business Office for fee billing and collection. Major components include fee calculation and bill production. Fees and adjustments are calculated as a by-product of registration activity.

Other components of this system include cashiering/receipting, financial aid direct credit/refunding, accounting interface & the TranUnion report, and backup support for Financial Aid

The bill incorporates information from registration and financial aid along with a statement of fees. New functionality includes e-check and e-billing.

Student Support Services ( 5 % )
Supervise student support service development

System Integration ( 15 % )
Interfaces with other systems, including: Password Synchronization, Photo IDs, Account Creation, APBS synchronization, CDI, IAA, D2L, Portal x SA, and SFS

Telephone Accounting and Billing ( 5 % )
Monitor bills from phone companies. Maintain and run monthly and yearly telephone chargeback processes.
