Hi! I'm Tom, the new Writing Center Assistant.  I am a freshman majoring in elementary education with a minor in language arts. I've wanted to be a teacher and nothing else since kindergarten.  When I'm not at school or working, I like to hang out with my family and friends and drive around and listen to music in my car.  My favorite bands to listen to are The Maine, All Time Low, and The Summer Set.  My personality is on the random and adventurous side.  I really enjoy exploring new areas, and I love to get lost in places that I'm not familiar with - excluding dark alleys.  I'm a "glass-half-full" type of person and try to see the positives in every situation; this mindset has helped me overcome a lot of obstacles in my schooling.  I love to meet new people, so feel free to stop by and say hi.
