The Man Who Planted Trees

"The Man Who Planted Trees" is an ecologically inspired tale of a French shepherd who sets out to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland acorn by acorn. It is an uplifting and unforgettable story that shows the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world. It is a play for children, but reaches an audience of all ages.

The play was performed at the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland for the past three summers. The national touring production from Puppet State Theatre will perform three shows at UW-Superior's Manion Theatre. Watch audience reviews in this short video from Puppet State Theatre!

Two daytime matinees will be given to local school children, and one evening performance will be open to the public.

Date: April 4, 2017

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Holden Fine and Applied Arts Center, Manion Theatre
