Tom Fleming

Everyone here is so open.

TWIN PORTS AREA

Tom, originally from Big Lake, MN, says, “You can look out your rear view mirror from anywhere, and it looks like a postcard.”

ON CAMPUS

Tom enjoys that there is a group, the Criminal Justice Student Organization, for his major. It helps him use his critical thinking skills. He also says that it’s difficult to come to UW-Superior and not find people to talk to. “Everyone here is so open,” he says.

Tom decided to attend UW-Superior as one of those “go for it” kind of opportunities; he liked the small campus feel and how close it is to everything. Tom is a thrower on the Track Team and is a student intern for the Student Health and Counseling Service.

PLANS AFTER SCHOOL

After UW-Superior, Tom says that he wants to work at a Sheriff’s Department, buy a house, get married, have kids and live the American Dream.
