HHP 102 Health and Wellness Lab
The basketball lab is designed to provide each student the opportunity to implement an exercise program playing basketball three days per week. Each student will be required to develop fitness goals and complete written assignments. Students will understand their target heart rate zones and be able to utilize this information during and after a workout.
Students will also gain knowledge and proficiency in basketball as it relates to lifetime fitness and activity, develop an understanding of the principles of basketball and basketball-related activities in a participation based setting.
Disability Accommodations: Adaptations of methods, materials or testing will be made to accommodate educational participation. Students should inform the instructor of these needs at the start of the semester.
