How to Apply to UW-Superior

Students applying to enter UW-Superior as freshmen should submit the following items to our Admissions Office after Sept. 15 of their senior year, but preferably before April 1. Applications will not be accepted after Aug. 1 for the upcoming fall semester:

  • A completed UW System application for admission. Apply online – no application fee required!
  • A copy of your high school transcript. Students are now able to upload an unofficial transcript through the online admissions application. A final, official high school will need to be sent directly from the high school upon graduation.
  • You can still submit your ACT or SAT scores as part of your application, but you also have the option to omit this if you haven’t taken the ACT/SAT or if you don’t feel your test scores reflect your academic ability. The UW-Superior institutional code for the SAT is 1920 and 4682 for the ACT.
  • If you wish to be admitted on the basis of high school equivalency, you must submit official documents such as the Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or other appropriate certificate. Include an official transcript of GED scores.
