Students will cover several branches of science, including biology, chemistry, Earth science, geology and physics. The Broad Field Science program broadly trains students in the sciences. This major leads to grades 4-12 licensure in the State of Wisconsin and would allow one to teach classes in the sciences. Certification for licensure requires completion of the Instruction Minor/required teacher certification coursework and student teaching in middle and/or high school.
If you currently hold a degree and are interested in teaching, UW-Superior offers licensure programs that apply your prior coursework. For more information, contact admissions@uwsuper.edu.
