Broad Field Social Studies

TYPE: Major
DEGREE: B.A./B.S.
DEPARTMENT: Social Inquiry Department

The Broad Field Social Studies Major is ideal for students interested in teaching social studies at the high school or middle school level.

You'll study anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology and complete an area of concentration in history or political science. Individuals interested in teaching must also complete a set of professional courses in Teacher Education.
