The Coaching minor reflects the growing interest in sports and recreational activities, which has increased the demand for trained coaches.

Teacher Education students can enhance their career opportunities by adding a minor in coaching.

A key part of UW-Superior's coaching minor is developing a philosophy to guide coaching decisions, along with identifying and treating sports and related injuries.

This minor meets Wisconsin and Minnesota coaching certification requirements.
