Be a Future Alumni Leader

As a Yellowjacket student, you know UW-Superior is a great school with incredible opportunities. As a Future Alumni Leader, you'll be part of a team of undergraduates who serve as the official student representatives of the Alumni Association, Foundation and Office of the Chancellor. Future Alumni Leaders play an important role in the advancement of UW-Superior. Are you ready to step up and be a leader?

Applications are now being accepted. To apply, complete the Application Form and email it, along with your Fall semester schedule, to alumni@uwsuper.edu. Or apply in person in Old Main 237.

What do Future Alumni Leaders do?

  • Represent the student body and provide support for on-campus, local and regional events
  • Assist with donor appreciation activities, including thank you notes, phone calls and videos
  • Promote student philanthropy activities like the Senior Giving Program
  • Attend regular leadership trainings
  • Show and promote UW-Superior pride
  • Give campus tours/visit with alumni and friends
  • Promote the Foundation's scholarship program

What do Future Alumni Leaders need?

  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Be a degree-seeking student at UW-Superior and be in good academic/disciplinary standing
  • Ability to attend two events per semester as well as monthly gatherings
  • Enrollment at UW-Superior for at least two semesters, with qualifying students serving during their sophomore, junior and/or senior years

What do Future Alumni Leaders gain?

  • Resume-enhancing volunteer experience

Future Alumni Leaders Timeline

  • Length of service: two semesters (Fall and Spring)
  • Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning in September
