Burnout: The Cost of Caring by Christina Maslach

This book speaks to those in care work: social workers, counselors, medical and emergency personnel – and yes, teachers. Maslach addresses the questions: what are the causes and consequences of burnout stemming from care-giving occupations and what can we do about it? In its 2015 edition, this book offers real-life stories and realistic advice for those of us feeling the burn of a career in Higher Education. This book in its 2015 edition is not available as an e-book.

Limit 6 participants per cohort / participants will receive a free copy of the book.

Register/RSVP to CETL@uwsuper.edu by 4pm on Mon 1/27.
