Organizational Leadership | The Inner & Outer Work of Leadership

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2022, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Location: Yellowjacket Union Room 203

Leadership is more than being able to make decision or a plan. You must be aware and present for yourself and others, pay attention to your intentions, choices, and impacts. In this workshop, you will learn how to pay attention to the narratives in your mind and be able to use that to inspire others and yourself to be authentic. We will discuss the definition of leadership as the activation of energy and the power of positively influencing others. We will practice listening first and coming to the right questions. We will discuss how to create space for others to act and to ask how our skills will work to benefit others. All of us can make a difference, no matter what our roles or what we think we’re capable of. 2/9 & 2/16
