Research Spotlight

This is a Remote Only Event

Join our colleague, Yoshiko Shakal, UWS Japanese lecturer, as they present on 2021 COIL research sponsored by the Markwood Center for Learning, Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC) in conjunction with the Global Awareness and Inclusivity Community of Practice (facilitated by Dr. Lynn Goerdt).

This research was a collaboration between UWS and an international overseas school partner, Ibaraki University (Japan), who worked together on a Collaborative International Online Learning (COIL) project in the spring semester of 2021 entitled "How have our ways of living changed after the COVID-19 pandemic?" We will show how we conducted our research and obtained our results. There were interesting differences, similarities, and some difficulties encountered in the process.

Presentation: Thursday, October 21, 2021 12:00 pm – 12:25 pm CST (open for questions through 12:50 pm)

Attendance: Remote via Zoom
