Science of Brewing Sampler

WEDNESDAY, MAY 5, 2021, 6 - 7 PM

This new virtual course is for anyone 21+ with an interest in beer and science. It will sample a variety of brewing topics, including:

  • The history of beer making,
  • Basic brew ingredients,
  • Discussion of the brewing process,
  • And the parameters that define differences in beer styles, such as aroma, flavor, color and mouthfeel.

This introductory course is taught by three of our UW-Superior Natural Sciences faculty experienced in the science of brewing. Come learn with us from the comfort of your own home!

The Science of Brewing Sampler meets virtually on Wednesdays, 6pm-7pm from 9/20/2021 - 5/9/2021. Fee: $199

Given the subject matter of the course, participants will be required to provide proof of meeting the prerequisite (21 years or older) prior to the course start date. A PDF or other digital document showing an ID that verifies age, can be submitted to Brenda Dalpiaz at Acceptable forms of identification include a valid driver's license, Wisconsin ID card, military ID card, U.S. Passport, and a tribal ID card.
