Virtual Tai Chi

MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2021, 4 - 4:50 PM

LOCIATION: This class will meet virtually via Zoom (passcode: 316954) every other week.

Join the Pruitt Center for Mindfulness & Well-Being every other Monday at 4pm* for Tai Chi this fall, beginning September 20. The class is open to everyone - staff, faculty, students, and the greater community. Everyone is welcome! Taught by our partner, Richard Tosseland.

Tai Chi improves strength, flexibility and balance, and can also help people become more centered, calm and focused. It can also greatly reduce a person's reactions to stress. The ultimate goal of Tai Chi is to enhance the flow of Chi (energy) throughout the body, mind and spirit.

Richard Tosseland is a licensed acupuncturist with a deep interest in Tai Chi. He has been practicing and teaching this ancient health exercise since 1983.

*Meeting dates: September 20, October 4, October 18, November 1, November 15, November 29, and December 13
