Events and Programming

Throughout the academic year Career Services hosts events to assist students in a wide variety of career/job related skills development.

Please consider adding one of the following Career Services Event experiences as a requirement or assignment in your class. We can work with you to be sure students attend with sign in sheets!

Check our Calendar of Events for upcoming instances of our Annual Events.

'Jacket Fest

When: Early Fall

What: Partnering with Student Involvement, Career Services offers this Student Involvement and Part-Time Job Fair to UW-Superior early in the fall semester. Booth holders include Non-Profits, On-campus Employers, Student Orgs, and Off-Campus Employers and Merchants. This fair is a fun atmosphere and students will have many opportunities to connect to the community and campus.

Business, Humanities, & Communication Career Fair

When: Fall & Spring

What: UW-Superior Career Services partners with the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) and College of St. Scholastica (CSS) to host the Business, Humanities & Communication Career Fair (formerly known as the Head of the Lakes). Each year the fall fair is hosted by UMD and the spring fair is hosted by UW-Superior. There, younger students can network, look for internships, meet employers, and observe their career field, while older students can also network, apply for positions, and set up interviews with potential employers.

A shuttle system from UW-Superior to UMD is provided for the fall fair.
