This listening session was sponsored and supported by the Superior Douglas County Family YMCA. Additionally, it was funded (or funded in part) by the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation. The University of Wisconsin-Superior's Center for Community Engaged Learning and the Mayor of Superior are jointly conducting a series of community listening sessions to determine significant assets and greatest needs of the community identified by you, the citizens of Superior.

Through these 13 listening sessions happening in the spring of 2018, citizens will share, hear, and discuss topics surrounding Superior. This is an opportunity to learn about and accurately assess local needs and priorities of the region from diverse audiences. Each session is scheduled to hear from a different key group and audience in Superior. The information will be used by the Mayor’s office to drive budget priorities for the upcoming year, for branding and building community pride, and also used by UW-Superior to align campus resources and provide our community partners with campus expertise to better address our area’s needs. We look forward to having these conversations with you at these community listening sessions!
