Early bird rates are valid for all modules held before May 2013. A discount of $400 off the regular individual module registration rate and a savings of $1,000 if enrolled in the program!

Module starts on April 10, 2013 and runs for eight weeks.  If seeking CTL certification within a six month time frame, it is recommended to complete this course in four weeks.

Program Details

The Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) online program satisfies the academic requirements to achieve CTL certification through the American Society of Transportation and Logistics (AST&L), an industry leading certification.

Module Details

The international transportation and logistics module provides the foundation required for understanding logistics processes required in moving goods and people across international boundaries, the transportation modes used in such movement, and current logistics issues in the global environment.

After taking this module you will be able to:

  • Understand the key differences between domestic and international logistics and how these difference affect logistics practice and performance
  • Develop and evaluate different strategies to effectively manage logistics processes on a global basis
  • Recognize the role and importance played by the many key logistics intermediaries that facilitate global trade.
