This noncredit workshop focuses on developing communication skills for those who plan to travel to Japan. The class will cover greetings, self introductions, family and pets, describing things and places, shopping, ordering at a restaurant, asking and telling favorite things and much more. It will also introduce Japanese culture and manners. In particular, this class is designed to prepare participants and chaperones of the Duluth & Superior Sister Cities delegations make the most of their summer trips to Japan. However, anyone planning to visit Japan is welcome and will find the class useful.
