PREPARE/ENRICH is a couple's assessment tool, created by Dr. David Olsen, Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota. An affordable and accessible tool completed by the couple on-line, it identifies the couple's strengths and growth areas and is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and education and can also be used with couples who are seriously dating as well as those who have been in long-term committed relationships for years.

The PREPARE/ENRICH program helps couples:

  • Explore strength and growth areas
  • Strengthen communication skills
  • Identify and manage major stressors
  • Resolve conflict using the Ten Step Model
  • Develop a more balanced relationship
  • Explore family of origin issues
  • Discuss financial planning and budgeting
  • Establish personal, couple and family goals
  • Understand and appreciate personality differences
