Madeline Island Graduate Credit Courses

Overview

The University of Wisconsin-Superior in collaboration with the Madeline Island School of the Arts (MISA) offers graduate credit course options for eligible workshops offered at MISA. In order to earn graduate credit, students will complete an additional curriculum project after finishing their MISA workshop(s).

Fees and Payment

Graduate credit offered for eligible workshops at MISA reflects a 50% reduction of the current graduate credit rate!

Payment for the workshop fee will be made directly to the Madeline Island School of the Arts when you register on their site for a workshop.  Payment for the graduate credits will be made directly to the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

How to Register

  1. Register for an eligible workshop on the MISA website. Payment for the workshop portion of your course will be made directly to the Madeline Island School of the Arts.
  2. Fill out a credit registration form to receive graduate credit and return it to:

  3. Once we receive your credit registration form, the instructor will contact you via email to discuss the details of his/her role as a graduate instructor and to schedule a one day site visit during your workshop session.  This will also be discussed and pre-approved by your workshop instructor.
