Curriculum Vitae

John McCormick II has spent the majority of his days in Wisconsin, Minnesota or Ohio, trying to surround himself with books and people who love language. John graduated from UW-La Crosse with a B.A. in English and a minor in General Honors. He received my M.A. in Creative Writing - Poetry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. If John is not running, kayaking, or backpacking, he is spending time with the household critters and a good book. Some favorite authors include Jesse Ball, Aimee Bender, Neil Gaiman, James Tate, John Berryman, Emily St. John Mandel, and Jane Hirshfield.
