About

Kelli loves travelling to Alaska with her family when she is able to. Fishing and taking in the sights are her favorite things to do!  She also loves gardening and preserving!  Her most popular items are hot relish and salsa. When she is not in Alaska or in the garden, she enjoys camping and goes as much as time will allow. Some of her favorite campgrounds are Day Lake and East Twin Lake in the Clam Lake area of Wisconsin.

Professional Background

Kelli received her AAS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Barron County, her B.S. in physics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and her M.S. in Engineering from UW-Platteville. Kelli began teaching in 2007 and has held many positions in several different areas of higher education. These include admissions, student affairs, continuing education, and lecturing in the areas of mathematics, physics, and astronomy.  What she enjoys most is helping students to realize their potential and succeed! Math can be scary for so many people and Kelli strives to make this as enjoyable as possible by giving students the encouragement and support that is essential to their success!

Research Interests

After teaching for several years online, Kelli is most interested in developing and researching the effectiveness of student support systems that aid in student success in an online format.
