Kelly is the Coordinator in the Center for Community Engagement; she helps develop and maintain community partnerships and leads efforts in engaging students in Community Engagement leadership and professional development opportunities. Kelly worked in Academic Service-Learning in the Twin Cities, spent eight years coordinating and directing AmeriCorps programs, and is happy to continue work in a field that is not only exciting, but impactful.

Some of Kelly’s passions align with the Center for Community Engagement’s goals, including: community building, volunteerism and the professional development of future community leaders. Kelly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Montana State University-Bozeman, a Master of Arts in English as a Second Language from Hamline, and she completed the Nonprofit Administration Certificate through UW-Superior’s Center for Continuing Education in 2017. She has volunteered in many English language learning classrooms, is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and Trainer, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Chester Bowl Improvement Club in Duluth.
