About

Kim is passionate about people. She is a certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Int'l). She is privileged to work with children and adults living with disabilities and horses, where she teaches communication skills with the aid of a horse. Kim also loves the outdoors, no matter where. She loves the Northwoods where there are no worries of poisonous snakes or sharks. And she enjoys the heat of the South and the beach in the late afternoons after everyone goes home.  Kim enjoys traveling, camping, sewing, playing music and working on projects with her family.

Professional Background

Kim is a former graduate of UW-Superior and since January of 2013 as a Senior Lecturer has taught online Communication courses for UWS through Distance Learning, serving students just like her several years earlier. Her thesis work was on Human and Animal Interaction and Interaction Involvement. Could working with an animal change how that human interacts with another human? She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at another college in West Tennessee. She is also a certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International. She is privileged to work with children and adults living with disabilities and horses under the umbrella of West Tennessee Healthcare.
