Tayler Boelk considers herself an escape room enthusiast and has successfully completed over 20 escape rooms in the Midwest. She also enjoys hosting unique parties, including Murder Mystery Parties and theme parties based on her favorite movies. Last summer, she hosted a backyard renaissance festival!

Professional Background

Tayler Boelk earned her M.A. in Communication with a designation in Teaching and Student Success from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Her capstone research focused on student recruitment and retention in TRIO programs. In her role as a communication instructor, she completed a "Signature" project designed to support incoming graduate teaching assistants succeed as new educators and earned the 2018-2019 All-University Graduate Teaching Effectiveness Award. Tayler enjoys working one-on-one with students to help them achieve their educational goals. She joined the UWS team as a Graduate Academic Advisor in the Department of Education in 2019.
