Instructional Program Manager
I'm responsible for the scheduling and quality assurance of our online courses. We review each course when it's developed for online teaching, and each time it's revised. I work with distance learning (DL) course evaluations and technology, and occasionally teach our online orientation class for new DL students.
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and earned three degrees from UW-Madison: a B.A. in English, an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction (Elementary Education), and (later) an M.S. in Water Resources Management. The WRM degree led to employment in the Northland, focused on Lake Superior and Great Lakes education and outreach. I appreciate the natural beauty of this area!
I value education and enjoy working with people. I think of myself as a communicator and problem solver, and like helping DL students understand how our campus systems work. We work hard to help students reach their goals as efficiently as possible.
