The Bayfield County Association for Home & Community Education awards a $500 scholarship annually to a 2nd year or more continuing college or vocational college student who is pursuing a field of study that benefits home and family. This requirement is interpreted liberally; students from a wide array of disciplines are invited to apply.
Those applying for this scholarship should be a Bayfield County resident or Bayfield County graduates of one of the high schools serving Bayfield County. Those schools include Bayfield, Drummond, South Shore, and Washburn. Private and home school students within the county are eligible as well. Note: Some eligible Bayfield County residents may have attended Ashland, Norhtwoods, Northwestern, or Solon Springs schools. The application is available in the UW-Superior financial aid office.
The application deadline is April 1.
