UW-Superior has a Lead Student who is dedicated to educating campus about women's topics.  Examples of programs offered in this area:

  • Stitch and Bitch (monthly) - an opportunity to have conversation about feminist topics while working on a craft with other students and staff. 
  • Reconstructing Barbie - a discussion about body image and self-esteem with the opportunity to re-form Barbie's body.
  • Speak Out Superior - an opportunity for the campus members and surrounding community to participate in a march and speak out against sexual and domestic violence against women.
  • Take Back the Night  - a collaborative event that encourages the community to fight against domestic and sexual (hosted in Duluth).
