I encourage you to consider contributing to the Superior Fund, which helps provide innovative programs that ensure students will become well-rounded leaders of tomorrow.

As I enter into my 26th year with the City of Redondo Beach in sunny Southern California, I think about how the writing, communications, and critical thinking skills I use as the Capital Projects Program Manager were first acquired at UW-Superior. I graduated from UW-Superior in 1983, earning majors in Political Science and International Studies. I was also able to participate in Model United Nations and the Soviet Seminar.

Growing up in Poplar, WI, I chose UW-Superior because it provided the most cost-effective option for me. I continue to be very grateful for the high-quality education I received. The faculty members were stimulating, and due to the small class sizes, accessible.

It’s been almost four decades since I was fortunate to receive significant support from the UW-Superior Foundation in the form of scholarships to attend UW-Superior. By supporting the Superior Fund each year, I hope to give other incoming students those same opportunities. I hope through my support, I can give something back to UW-Superior and provide a dynamic educational environment for future generations in northern Wisconsin.

I encourage you to consider contributing to the Superior Fund, which helps provide innovative programs that ensure students will become well-rounded leaders of tomorrow.
