Geographic Area or Hometown Scholarships
Tommy Downs Scholarship. For a graduate of Spooner (Wisconsin) High School, with the UW-Superior Foundation matching the award.
Caroline Erickson Scholarship. For an incoming freshman who is a graduate of a high school in northwest Wisconsin, who is in the upper 20 percent of their class, and who has the recommendation of their high school principal.
Eugene and Marian Erickson Scholarship. For a full-time UW-Superior student who is a graduate of the Northwestern School District in Maple, WI.
Hermanson Scholarship. For a freshman female who is a resident of rural Douglas County and is ranked in the upper 25th percentile of her high school graduating class.
Mark and Mary (Milchesky) Kotter Scholarship. For a student from rural Douglas County, WI and a graduate of Superior High School with financial need.
Roger H. and Jane L. (DeBruyne) Nelson Scholarship. For students who are one of the top five graduating seniors at St. Croix High School in Solon Springs, WI.

Judge and Mrs. Douglas Moodie Scholarship. For students from Superior or Douglas County, with emphasis on those majoring in legal studies.
This scholarship is administered by the Human Behavior, Justice and Diversity department and applications should be submitted to the department chair or your advisor. Please be sure to check whether the scholarship requires more information than is asked for on the application.
William and Olga Munnings Scholarship. Awarded annually to four students: 1) An incoming student from Superior Senior High School; 2) A full-time undergraduate junior or senior student majoring in business and economics; 3) A full-time undergraduate junior or senior student majoring in teacher education; 4) A non-traditional student.
This scholarship is administered by the Admissions office, the Business & Economics department, the Educational Leadership department,and the Dean of Students office and applications should be submitted to the department chair or your advisor. Myrl Bernadine Kremer-Camp Horseshoe Scholarship. A long-term loan for a graduate of Northwoods High School, Minong, WI, to be returned to the UW-Superior Foundation at the recipient's discretion.
This scholarship is administered by the Financial Aid Office.
Gulland Scholarship.For a student who was enrolled in the Upward Bound program, and graduated from one of the following counties in Northeast Minnesota or Northwest Wisconsin: Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Lake, St. Louis, Crow Wing, Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas or Iron.
This scholarship is administered by the Upward Bound program.
Superior Area Retired Educators Association Scholarship. For undergraduate students in their junior or senior year majoring in education. Students must be a resident of Douglas County or southern St. Louis County (Duluth area) and have a strong academic background.
