Air Force ROTC Scholarships

To apply for these scholarships, please contact your AFROTC Detachment Commander.

Richard I. Bong Memorial Scholarship: For an upperclassman enrolled at UW-Superior and in AFROTC. Preference should be given to students from Northwest Wisconsin. In the event there is not an eligible student studying AFROTC, the scholarship should be awarded to a student from the Northwestern School District enrolled at UW-Superior. Preference will be given to students who serve as volunteers at the Richard Bong Heritage Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. and Dorothy J. Peterson Scholarship. For a student from Wisconsin, Michigan, or Minnesota enrolled at UW-Superior and in AFROTC.

Gen. Charles C. McDonald and Col. Karl Moravek Scholarship. For a student from Wisconsin, Minnesota or Michigan who has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and is enrolled in AFROTC at UW-Superior.

 

 

Current students: Each winter, you will receive notification to your UW-Superior email account when it is time to apply for Foundation scholarships. Applications are typically due in early March and scholarships are awarded for the following academic year, beginning with the fall semester.

Incoming freshmen and transfer students: Upon admission to the university, you must complete the new student scholarship essay to be considered for a Foundation scholarship.You will be notified by mail and email if you have been awarded a Foundation scholarship.
