Grad Walk Event

While we are not able to have our ceremony in person, the Grad Walk event will focus on allowing graduates an experience similar to that of a traditional ceremony. Students will have a brief amount of time to walk across the stage, have their name read, the Chancellor will hand them their diploma tube and pose for a pictures with them. Master’s students will have the opportunity to be hooded as well. Up to two guests will be allowed to accompany each student (children of any age count as a guest).

Event Registration: Student MUST pre-register for this event. Due to COVID-19 restrictions walk-ins will NOT be accepted. Graduates were sent registration information to their UW-Superior email.

Grad Walk Dates: Friday, May 14th, YU Great Room– timeslots available between 9am-7pm Saturday, May 15th, YU Great Room - timeslots available between 9am-12pm

Grad item pick-up:

  • Honor cords and grad bags may be picked up Monday through Friday 8am-4pm in the Registrar’s office (OM 139) or during the Grad Walk Event.
  • Those not picked up will be mailed with diplomas during the summer.  All grads receive a grad bag.  If you are unsure of if you will receive honor cords please contact the Registrar’s Office at registrars@uwsuper.edu.

NOTE: The ceremony itself is still virtual, this is a photo opportunity event, not a full ceremony. Students/guests will not be seated, they will move through the photo line then depart the area once the student has walked the stage.
