Financial Specialist 3 (Project), Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve, (80-100%)
Open. The University of Wisconsin-Superior has a 6-month temporary classified staff position available in the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve. This position is renewable dependent upon funding. Wisconsin residency is required. See application instructions below.
This position provides administrative program support, especially related to grant and fiscal management, for the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support, grant management and fiscal support to increase the capacity of Lake Superior NERR staff to apply for, secure, manage, and complete grants, and to use available Lake Superior NERR resources (financial and personnel) more appropriately and effectively.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in accounting, business or other fields closely related to the requirements of this position. Current content knowledge in fields related to the purpose of this position. Experience leading, coordinating, managing or administering programs and projects. Demonstrated program management skills including grant-writing, budget development, or fiscal resources management. Knowledge and skills to effectively interact with people from different cultural backgrounds, including those associated with race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of human diversity.

This position is in pay range 02-12, and the salary for this position is $16.502 per hour.
This position is a 32-40 hours per week position, all qualified applicants, including those with a desire for part-time work, are encouraged to apply. Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM.
