POSITION:

University Services Program Associate, Center for Adult Education and Outreach (LTE, 50%)

POSITION:

This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position. An LTE position may not exceed 1,043 work hours in a 12 month period. Wisconsin residency is required.

DURATION/HOURS:

This is a temporary 50% position starting approximately October 28, 2013, and lasting approximately eight months

WORK SCHEDULE:

Temporary part-time, 20 hours per week
Monday through Friday
12:30 pm- 4:30 pm

SALARY:

$13.00 Per Hour - Employer does not provide benefits for this job.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide administrative support to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Outreach. Manage communications and maintain records, including confidential information. Provide staff support for positions searches in the Center for Adult Education and Outreach, as well as other areas of responsibility of the Associate Vice Chancellor, schedule meetings, events, and activities for advisory committees and work teams. Support academic policy development and change processes.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES:

Thorough knowledge of UW-Superior's policies and procedures. Ability to manage confidential communications and records. Ability to interpret policy to the public. Excellent writing and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to exercise care for high level of accuracy. Ability to use Web page development and editing software. Ability to learn, enter data into and query databases. Other computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) Acrobat, Common Spot, WISDM and Desire2Learn. Knowledge of current office procedures and practices. Problem resolution capacity. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Self-motivated. Effective time management skills. Effective team participation skills.
