New Faculty and Staff

We are excited to have you join our campus community and we look forward to supporting you as you begin your work at UW-Superior.

As a new Faculty or Staff member, you will learn a great deal of what you need to know from your co-workers and supervisor. However, we have assembled a variety of resources that we think will be useful as you begin your work at UW-Superior.

Please take a look at the New Employee Orientation to ensure you have completed the required paperwork (employment, payroll, benefits).These links also include a variety of information and resources to help you become acquainted with UW-Superior and the area.

Finally, to support the University's goal to foster a safe, inclusive environment and ensure data security, you will receive emails from Lawroom/EVERFI to complete required compliance trainings within 30 days of your hire date. Shortly after your hire date you will receive notice of the registration for these trainings. Please complete the following trainings by the assigned due date(s):

  • Harassment and Discrimination Prevention
  • Checkpoint: Data Security and Privacy (EDU)
  • EDU: FERPA
  • EDU: Ethics
  • Diversity: Inclusion in the Modern Workplace (EDU)

The final training to complete will be E.O. #54. When you have completed the training, please save your certificate and email it to hr@uwsuper.edu.

Current or Returning Faculty and Staff

We are committed to promoting a campus culture that reflects our values of safety and nondiscrimination on an ongoing basis. In this effort, all University of Wisconsin employees will need to complete mandatory web-based training programs upon hire and on an ongoing basis. Successful completion of these courses by the due date is required as a part of all employees continued commitment and will be reflected on all performance evaluations. Noncompliance may result in an individual receiving a less than satisfactory rating on their annual review, resulting in ineligibility for a payplan increase or additional repercussions as necessary.
