Implementation of Wisconsin Act 10

Effective with the biweekly payroll ending August 13 (pay date of August 25) and the monthly payroll ending August 31 (pay date of September 1), employees will see the implementation of the Wisconsin Act 10 provisions which include increased health insurance premiums and WRS employee contributions.  

ETF has recently updated its documents relative to the budget bill and the budget repair bill.  Both the employee and employer documents can be accessed from ETF's front page: http://www.etf.wi.gov/.  All UWSA documents on the topic can be accessed from the UWSA benefits homepage:  http://www.wisconsin.edu/hr/benefits/.  A detailed FAQ on the impact of Act 10 can be found here: http://www.wisconsin.edu/hr/benefits/repairbillfaq.pdf      

For your use, the total compensation estimator (http://www.wisconsin.edu/hr/benefits/compest/ has also been updated to reflect the new health insurance premiums and WRS contribution rate.
