Technology Funding Program Results 2010-2011 and 2011-2012
Requests for 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 technology funding from the Classroom/Lab Modernization or the Student Technology Fee programs were submitted in February, 2011. These cycles were blended together to catch up the current year cycle and to assure that funds from the 2011-2012 cycle could be used by July 1, 2011, for needs equipping Swenson Hall.
Funding requests again exceeded the available funding. Allocation decisions focused on operational costs, equipment replacements for general access labs, and equipping new computer classrooms in Swenson Hall. Some Academic Department requests that were rated as first priority received funding from this program but unfortunately not all.
