About the Center

The Northern Center for Community and Economic Development (NCCED) was created in the mid-1980s as a joint effort between the University of Wisconsin-Superior and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. The Center is housed on the UW-Superior campus in the Department of Business and Economics. The Center's staff is part of the statewide Community, Natural Resource and Economic Development (CNRED) program area of UW-Extension.
